EDC & Everyday Bags
What is an EDC bag?
Photos & demonstrations coming soon
EDC (everyday carry) bags are optimised for the recurring ritual of daily life: commute, work, errands, coffee shop. The priorities are fast organisation (knowing where everything is without looking), comfortable all-day wear, and a size that doesn't make you conspicuous. EDC is less a bag category and more a philosophy — the idea that your carry system should be so reliable and frictionless that you stop thinking about it entirely.
Signs of a quality edc & everyday bags
- Dedicated laptop sleeve with false-bottom drop protection
- Front organiser panel or quick-access exterior pocket
- Padded straps designed for 4–8 hours of daily wear
- 15–26L — big enough to be useful, small enough to stay nimble
- Works in professional contexts without looking tactical
Not the right type if…
You need a bag built for a specific activity — hiking, cycling, photography. EDC bags are generalists. They do most things acceptably; they don't do any one thing exceptionally.
