Baglioteca

Shopping with an AI assistant

Baglioteca is a guide to bags, not a shop. Its catalog lists 1,088 bags from 40 brands, with specs and list prices taken from each brand's own site. To buy, follow the link to the brand.

This page lists the questions that narrow the catalog and how each answer maps to a search filter. An AI assistant can read it, ask you the questions, and fetch a short list of bags. The same data, with live counts, is here: https://baglioteca.com/shopping-guide.json

1,088 bags from 40 brands. Updated 2026-10-29.

Best first question: What kind of bag do you want?

How an assistant should use this

  • Ask 3 to 5 questions. Skip any the person has already answered.
  • Start with core questions, then common, then niche.
  • MCP clients can use the same tools at the mcp endpoint: get_discovery_questions, get_facets, search_products, get_product.
  • Or call the facets endpoint with the answers so far: it lists the questions that still split the results, most useful first.
  • Then call the search endpoint with the answers as query parameters, and compare the top results.
  • Results that match every answer come first, marked exact. Close matches follow, with the answers they miss under unmatched. Search never comes back empty.
  • Results are sorted by how many answers they match, then by price. Nothing here is paid placement.
  • Prices are list prices in US dollars from the brand's own site. Stock is not tracked: check the brand's page before buying.
