A: The Lotus 32L has side pockets that are extendable, that's where the extra space is, but the two models are complexly different. The Kashmir 30L being part of the Ultra Light series and the Lotus 32L being a Mountain Series pack. Packs within both of these two ranges are built for different purposes and usage scenarios. If light weight is of absolute importance, then the Kashmir 30L will be a better option. If a higher level of durability is required, then the Lotus 32L from the Mountain Series will be a better option. Q: Will the Lotus 32L fit a Canon RF 400mm lens? A: Yes, if you pair the Lotus 32L with a Pro Large ICU. However, the lens cannot be attached to the camera body. If you want the pack the lens mounted onto the camera body, then you will need to use the Pro XL ICU with a larger capacity bag in the Mountain Series range, such as the Tilopa 50L.
